SAN ANTONIO — A man was injured Tuesday evening when the gun he was carrying accidentally discharged and grazed his leg.
It happened just before 7:50 p.m. at the Cinemark theater off on Loop 410 on the northwest side of town.
Police say a moviegoer was in line at the snack bar when he says a gun in his pocket just went off, grazing his leg.
No one else was injured. The man was arrested and faces two counts for unlawful carrying a weapon in a prohibited place and discharging in a municipality.
Police say that it’s a felony because beer is sold there, but TABC will not be involved because the movie theater did not commit any infraction.
