SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police have released new details about a deadly incident involving a pedestrian and multiple vehicles on the northwest side early Sunday morning.
Officers were called to the 5900 block of NW Loop 410 around 2:10 a.m. for what was initially reported as a major accident involving a motor vehicle and a pedestrian.
According to SAPD, the victim, a 44-year-old man, was riding in the passenger seat of a vehicle when he began arguing with someone inside the car. While the vehicle was still moving, police say the man jumped out onto the roadway.
Investigators say the man hit the pavement and was then struck by another vehicle traveling in the same direction.
Both drivers stopped and attempted to render aid until first responders arrived.
