The 22-year-old suspect now faces a murder charge.
SAN ANTONIO — A man is now dead after an altercation turned into a shooting Saturday night.
Police were called to the Icon Apartments located in the 1300 block of Patricia Drive just after 10 p.m. According to police, two men got into a fight and at one point one of them shot the other.
At the first the 46-year-old victim just had life-threatening injuries, but according to an updated preliminary report from police, that victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses told police that the 22-year-old suspect was seen fleeing into another residence.
Our photographer on scene said that police surrounded the apartment building and used tactical procedures to get the suspect into custody.
The suspect now faces a murder charge.
