SAN ANTONIO — A tragic accident on the city’s northwest side claimed the life of a man walking in the street, police say.
SAPD responded to the scene Saturday around 9:30 p.m. on Ingram Road at Callaghan Road for reports of a motor vehicle versus pedestrian accident.
Police say a woman driving was south on Ingram Road when she hit a man who was walking in the middle of the street near Callaghan Road.
He was rushed to the hospital, but later died from his injuries.
Officers say the driver stayed on scene and there were no signs of impairment.
