A victim entered a hotel room with a woman early Saturday morning. After a few minutes, police say a man came out of the bathroom and robbed the victim at gunpoint.
SAN ANTONIO — A man meeting a woman for a date ended up being robbed in a northwest-side hotel, police say.
A 33-year-old man told police he was scheduled to meet a woman at a hotel in the 13000 block of IH-10 West just after 2 a.m. Saturday morning.
The man entered a hotel room with the woman and after a few minutes police say a 20-year-old man came out of the bathroom and robbed the victim at gunpoint for his belongings.
As the property was taken, the victim was forced out of the hotel room.
Officers then arrived and treated the scene as a barricaded subject situation. After help from multiple units, both suspects exited the room and were taken into police custody.
The suspects face aggravated robbery charges.
