
SAN ANTONIO — A man shot his uncle on board a VIA bus on the city’s west side Monday evening, San Antono Police say.
San Antonio Police responded to the scene near the intersection of Culebra Road and North General McMullen just after 6 p.m. Monday.
The San Antonio Fire Department reported that two people were taken to hospitals following the incident. One of them was a Priority 1 transport. There was no further word on their condition.
An SAPD spokesman said several people were on the bus when the shooting happened.
One woman who spoke with KENS 5 said she witnessed the two men arguing on the bus before she got off at her stop and then heard a gunshot.
The alleged shooter was tracked down by police several blocks away from the incident.
Police were taking pictures inside and outside of the bus, which remained parked at the scene.
