
The victim, who police say is a man in his 50s, was transported to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police said a suspected road rage incident on the city’s far north side turned deadly Sunday afternoon.
SAPD said officers were dispatched for a shooting-in-progress outside Bourbon Street Seafood Kitchen on the 22000 block of IH-10 W near the Dominion.
According to police, the incident began as a possible road rage involving a vehicle going the wrong way. Officials said both vehicles parked at the restaurant and the two couples got into a verbal altercation that turned physical.
During the altercation, police said the suspect’s wife was allegedly assaulted by the victim. The suspect then pulled a handgun and fired at the victim several times.
Surveillance video captured the suspect and his wife a couple businesses down where officials say they contacted police and said they were involved in a shooting.

Officials said the suspect and his wife, along with the victim’s wife and witnesses were all taken in for questioning. No word yet on what charges the suspect will be facing.
Police said no businesses in the area were affected and no other injuries were reported.
