SAPD: Man shot, claims he was threatened by his ex-girlfriend earlier in the day

The man said that his ex-girlfriend that he moved out earlier allegedly made threats that she would send her brother to shoot him.

SAN ANTONIO — A man was sent to the hospital early Friday morning after being threatened by his ex-girlfriend earlier in the day, police say.

The man heard glass breaking outside while in a home in the 7200 block of Mill Valley Drive. When he went outside, police say he was shot in the stomach.

The suspect fled on foot, but police say they might have been picked up down the street.

The man said that his ex-girlfriend that he moved out earlier allegedly made threats that she would send her brother to shoot him.

The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition but as of Friday morning he has been updated to non-life-threatening.
