A man was injured after someone fired into his vehicle outside a northeast side motel early Thursday morning.
SAN ANTONIO — A man is recovering after being shot while dropping off a friend at a northeast side motel early Thursday morning.
According to San Antonio police, the incident happened around 2:50 a.m. near the 1200 block of Northeast Loop 410.
Investigators say the victim, a man in his 30s, was at the Broadway Inn on Austin Highway when a suspect approached his vehicle and fired a shot, hitting him in the arm.
Police say the victim was able to drive away and made it to a nearby Chevron at Loop 410 and Nacogdoches Road, where he called for help.
He was taken to University Hospital in stable condition.
No arrests have been announced.
Detectives are continuing to investigate.
San Antonio police, fire and EMS all responded to the scene.
