SAN ANTONIO — Traffic investigators are looking into an incident involving a woman injured in a motorcycle crash.
Police say the crash happened around 2:30 a.m. Thursday on I-10 near the Vance Jackson exit.
A call initially came in as a report of a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle. But when police arrived, they found a woman who was conscious and talking with some significant injuries.
The woman told paramedics she had been a passenger on a motorcycle, and that the driver of the bike lost control and hit the guardrail. After the crash, police say the driver got back on the bike and kept going, leaving the woman behind.

At last check, police are still looking for the man who took off. There’s no word yet on what charges he might face when they find him.
