Officers say that someone picked up the motocyclist following the crash and drove off.
SAN ANTONIO — A motorcyclist slammed into a car after running a red light early Thursday morning, police say.
San Antonio Police responded to the access roads on 281 North at Loop 1604 around 12:20 a.m. for reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and a car.
Police say the driver of the car told them the motorcyclist ran a light and hit him at the intersection. Officers say the motorcylist kept going for another 40 yards before coming to a stop.
Then someone picked up the rider and drove off. The driver of the car did stop and call for help.
This is a developing story.
