SAPD: Northeast-side restaurant evacuated after receiving bomb threat

Police say a former “disgruntled employee” was seen leaving Chacho’s just before the incident.

Officers responded to a bomb threat around 12:15 a.m. at the Chacho’s located in the 8600 block of Perrin Beitel. Police notified the employees at the restaurant to evacuate while they were on the way to the scene.

San Antonio firefighters also arrived and extinguished a small fire.
