SAN ANTONIO — An SAPD officer rear-ended a car while responding to a separate crash, according to police.
The initial crash happened at the intersection of Alamo Ranch and Culebra.
Just before 11:30 p.m., an officer responded to the crash. At the scene, police say that officer’s vehicle began to hydroplane on the wet pavement, crashing into the back of a white sedan. That sedan then crashed into a black sedan stopped at a red light around the intersection of Culebra and Acadia Creek.
The officer was not harmed in the accident.
The woman in the white sedan was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
The woman in the black car got a ticket because she did not have insurance.
