
Police say the 19-year-old driver of a vehicle appeared to be speeding, causing him to crash into another vehicle from behind.
SAN ANTONIO — A crash on the south side sends a man to the hospital in critical condition, according to police.
Just after 2 a.m. Saturday morning, officers were called to the intersection of Roosevelt Avenue and San Rafael for a major accident.
Police say the driver of a vehicle, a 19-year-old man, appeared to be speeding, causing him to crash into another vehicle from behind. Police say a passenger in the suspect vehicle, a 24-year-old man, was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The northbound blocks of 9900 through 10100 of Roosevelt Avenue were closed for about four hours so officials could investigate the scene.
The investigation is still ongoing, but police say the driver could be facing a charge of collision involving injury.
