
Police said the driver of the vehicle failed to stop and render aid. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police said a man was critically injured after he was struck by a vehicle on the city’s west side early Saturday morning.
According to police, the man was walking northwest bound on the 200 block of Bandera Road and Kentucky Avenue at around 3 a.m. when he was struck by an unknown vehicle. Officials said he was not walking in a crosswalk when the incident occurred.
The driver of the vehicle fled the location and failed to stop and render aid, according to police. The suspect is unknown at this time.
The man was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and police said at last check, he is in critical condition.
