Police say a man was shot several times in a neighborhood shooting, and the suspect ran off before officers arrived.
SAN ANTONIO — Police are investigating after a man was shot multiple times on the west side of San Antonio.
Officers were called around 3:03 p.m. Saturday to the 6700 block of Blue Oak Lane for a reported shooting.
When they arrived, they found a 46-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds.
Investigators say the suspect, identified as an 18-year-old man, may have still been inside the home at one point, but had already fled before officers arrived.
The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say it’s still unclear what led up to the shooting.
The investigation is ongoing.
