SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio authorities are responding to a shooting involving police officers on the south side of town.
The San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) responded to the area of Barrett and South Flores, just south of East Southcross, at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. A KENS 5 crew on the scene observed a heavy police presence in the area; Police Chief William McManus is expected to provide an update around 10:45 p.m.
This is the fourth shooting involving SAPD officers in 2024.
