SAPD has announced they will be temporarily restricting the use of drones at the upcoming MLK March to enhance public safety.
SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Police Department is temporarily restricting drones from the upcoming MLK March.
The announcement was made due to the heightened security concerns throughout the United States, according to SAPD.
In compliance with State law, SAPD is enforcing the restriction to enhance public safety and “support police operations during the special event.”
Any drone used at the event being held on Monday, Jan. 20 is prohibited as the temporary restriction will be enforced.
