SAPD: Sonic customer shoots manager dead in argument over money

San Antonio police are looking for two suspects in connection with the Sunday-night shooting.

SAN ANTONIO — An argument that authorities said was over a Sonic order ended with the restaurant’s manager dead after a customer shot him Sunday night. 

San Antoni police said the unidentified victim managed to retreat back into the Sonic after he was shot, but he was later declared dead by first responders. 

SAPD is still looking for two people in connection with the incident, which unfolded around 9:40 p.m. at the location in the area of Babcock and Huebner. The agency shared photos of two individuals online, saying they were arguing with the 33-year-old employee before one of them fatally shot him.
