SAPD: Suburban fails to yield, leads to crash with motorcycle; no major injuries reported

No major injuries were reported and no criminal charges are expected to be filed.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio officials responded to a major crash involving a motorcycle Friday night.

The crash happened at about 9:44 p.m. in the 12200 block of Nacogdoches.

Police say a Suburban driven by a 50-year-old woman was exiting a private property, trying to cross lanes and make a left turn westbound on Nacogdoches. The Suburban allegedly failed to yield to oncoming traffic, pulling out in front of a motorcycle, driven by a 27-year-old man that was driving eastbound.

The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital as a precaution. The driver of the suburban was also taken to the hospital, also as a precaution.

No major injuries were reported and no criminal charges are expected to be filed.
