SAPD: Suspected case of road rage leads to shooting; victim taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

Police say they are currently looking for the suspected shooter.

SAN ANTONIO — A suspected road rage shooting landed a victim in the hospital Tuesday night, SAPD says.

Around 9:20 p.m., police were called to the area of Culebra and I-10 West where the victim’s vehicle was pulled over.

Police say an unknown suspect fired shots into the victim’s vehicle on the access road of I-10 and West Hildebrand. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital.

The suspect has not been located as of Tuesday night.

It’s unclear what led up to the shooting.

The officer on scene did say that road rage shootings are becoming an issue in San Antonio.
