SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are searching for the person responsible for a shooting outside a party at an Airbnb in the Monticello Park neighborhood that left an 18-year-old man critically injured.
According to the SAPD, officers were called around 11:15 p.m. Thursday to a home on the 200 block of Quentin Drive near Babcock Road.
Investigators said a party was happening at the Airbnb when a fight broke out outside the home. Someone then opened fire toward the house while partygoers were standing outside watching the fight. The teen was shot in the back and taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Authorities said they do not believe the shooting was targeted.
Police are searching for a suspect described as a man wearing a ski mask and a black hoodie. It is still unclear whether the shooter was attending the party before the shooting happened.
The investigation remains ongoing.
