SAPD: Three ‘serial offenders’ arrested after jugging man leaving bank with large envelope

SAPD said they were watching the suspects go from bank to bank as they are known “serial offenders” of these types of crimes.

SAN ANTONIO — Three men accused of jugging a man after watching him leave a bank with a large envelope have been arrested.

The San Antonio Police Department said the suspects were driving around to different banks seeing if anyone would walk out with a lot of cash. At one of the banks, they witnessed the victim walking out of the bank with a large envelope in his hands and proceeded to follow him in their vehicle to another location.

When the man got out of the vehicle, the suspects realized that he had left the envelope in his car. They reportedly broke the window and attempted to take the money.

Luckily, SAPD has been watching them as they are known as “serial offenders” of theft crimes and were able to apprehend them as the jugging was taking place. SAPD said the suspects have a system and routine in place to execute these crimes.

The three suspects were identified as Jacoby Williams, 20, Dontrel Trayon Clark, 25 and Broderick Craig Graves, 25.

Each suspect is facing a felony charge of theft over $25,000.
