One of the victims had a gunshot wound, officials said, but it wasn’t immediately clear how the other may have died.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police responded to a neighborhood near Balcones Heights where they found two people dead in a possible murder-suicide, officials said.

The dead have not yet been identified other than being in their 60s. While one of them appeared to have been shot, it wasn’t immediately clear how the other might have died, police said.

Officers responded to the 200 block of One Oak Drive, near Loop 410 and Babcock, at around 4:15 p.m. Thursday. Authorities said the two dead are believed to be a husband and wife, adding a child of theirs was coming to visit when the discovery was made.

Police said they didn’t notice any signs of other foul play.

This is a developing story.
