SAPD: Two hospitalized after exchanging gunfire at northeast-side pool

Police say the two men were arguing when they each pulled out a weapon and fired off shots at each other.

SAN ANTONIO — Police say two men exchanged gunfire after getting into an argument at an apartment complex pool late Sunday evening.

It happened just before 11 p.m. in the 3100 block of Thousand Oaks Drive on the northeast side of town at the White Rock Apartments.

Police tell us two men were arguing at the complex’s pool when it escalated and they started shooting at each other. One drove himself to a Med Care center saying he was robbed and shot.

The other was taken to University Hospital from the pool in critical condition.

Police did not say if anyone will face charges.
