One man died at the scene and the other died at the hospital.
SAN ANTONIO — Two men are dead in what police say was a shootout outside of a bar just north of downtown early Sunday.
San Antonio Police were called out to the 6700 block of San Pedro Avenue around 5:24 a.m. Sunday for reports of a shooting.
Officers are still investigating what happened, trying to piece together the crime scene. For now, they say that it looks like there was a fight in the parking lot of a bar.
It appears that it was “good-sized” fight, said an SAPD spokesman, encompassing a large area of the parking lot.
One of the suspects pulled out a weapon, and then so did the other, and both men shot each other.
Police say one man died at the scene and the other died at the hospital. Both men were in their 40s or 50s.
