SAPD units respond to drive by shooting on the east side

A juvenile at a nearby apartment complex was shot, and a man in his early 20s was shot in the chest and taken to the hospital in critical condition.

SAN ANTONIO — Two young males were shot in a drive-by shooting on the 900 block of North Mittman Street on the city’s east side Sunday evening.

SAPD said there was an altercation between people in two vehicles, when a separate blue Hyundai Sonata drove by and started shooting.

A juvenile at a nearby apartment complex was shot, and a man in his early 20s was shot in the chest and taken to the hospital in critical condition, according to police.

A 69-year-old man in a wheelchair was also hurt when a stray bullet went through a wall.
