SAN ANTONIO — A verbal argument turned physical Thursday afternoon, leaving someone shot in the leg, police say.

SAPD said in a news conference that officers were called to the intersection of Potosi and 21st for a shooting in progress around 1:26 p.m.

Police say three men were cutting a tree at the intersection when two suspects appeared in an unknown vehicle.

A verbal altercation then took place, according to police, leading to one of the victims being shot in the left leg.

Police say the victim was uncooperative and did not give them that much information about the incident or what led up to it.

The victim was taken to hospital, but police believe his injuries aren’t critical.

It is currently unknown if there was any relationship between the suspects and victims.

Information is limited as there is no description of the suspect vehicle nor approximate age of the suspects.
