SAPD: Woman accused of stabbing man during argument, spitting on officers

A woman is accused of cutting a man during an argument and spitting on officers during her arrest on the northwest side Friday night, according to SAPD.

SAN ANTONIO — A woman was arrested Friday night after allegedly cutting a man during an argument on the northwest side of San Antonio, according to police.

SAPD said officers responded around 10:28 p.m. to the 8700 block of Fredericksburg Road for a report of a cutting in progress. Upon arrival, police located and detained the suspect.

Investigators said the victim, a 47-year-old man, and the suspect, a 25-year-old woman, were involved in a verbal argument when the woman allegedly physically assaulted the man and used a knife to inflict bodily injury.

While being placed in a patrol vehicle, police said the woman became aggressive toward officers, spitting on two of them.

The San Antonio Police Department said the investigation is active and ongoing.
