
On Thursday, SAPD said that the shooting was an attempted murder-suicide, the now-deceased woman being the suspect.
SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Police Department were on the scene of a shooting near Alamo Heights.
Around 2 p.m., SAPD responded to an apartment complex on the 60 block of Brees Boulevard after receiving reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers found a 53-year-old male and 47-year-old female inside the apartment with gunshot wounds. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene while the man was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
SAPD said the pair were in a relationship but the nature of what started the argument is unknown at this time, but they added that they are not looking for any other suspects at this time as there was only one gun found on the scene.
