Police say after an argument in a vehicle, the woman got out and started walking down the highway. That’s when police say an unrelated vehicle hit her.
SAN ANTONIO — A woman is now dead after being hit by a vehicle while walking down a highway, according to police.
Police say a couple was having an argument while driving on NW Loop 410 at about 12:25 a.m. Saturday morning. Police say the woman wanted to get out, so the driver pulled over. The woman got out and started walking down the highway.
That’s when another vehicle, unrelated to the situation, hit the woman while she was walking around the area of Culebra and NW Loop 410. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver who hit the woman remained at the scene and is cooperating with police. They aren’t expected to face any charges.
NW Loop 410 was closed while authorities investigated.
No other injuries were reported.
