SAPD: Woman injured after driver clips her car, does not stop to help

Officers tell us she was in and out of consciousness several minutes until she was able to make it to the ambulance.

SAN ANTONIO — Police are searching for a car that hit a woman late last night on the west side of town.

It happened just before midnight on Sunday in the 1500 block of Bandera Road not far from Hillcrest Drive.

The 34-year-old woman’s car was clipped and the driver did not stop to help.

Officers tell us she was in and out of consciousness several minutes until she was able to make it to the ambulance.

Right now she’s in stable condition at University Hospital. 

Police did not release a description of the car that hit her.
