SAPD: Woman shot after argument in north-side parking lot, suspect on the run

According to police, the victim has not been cooperating with investigators.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police said a woman was shot after an argument in a north-side parking lot early Sunday morning.

Officers were called just after 3 a.m. to the 4400 block of De Zavala Road for reports of a shooting.

Investigators said a group of friends had met up in the parking lot when an argument broke out between a man and a woman. 

According to police, the man stepped out of a vehicle and fired several shots into it, hitting a woman inside three times — in the arm, elbow and hand.

Another woman who was in the vehicle was not hurt, police said.

Officials said the shooter fled the scene before officers arrived. The injured woman was taken to a hospital, where she was listed in stable condition.

According to police, the victim has not been cooperating with investigators.

No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation remains ongoing.
