SAN ANTONIO — A woman suspected of driving while intoxicated crashed her car into a building on the west side of town late Wednesday night, police say.

San Antonio Police responded to the 5000 block of West Commerce Street near Old Highway 90 around 11:30 p.m. for reports of a driver hitting a building.

When officers arrived, they found the driver’s vehicle almost completely inside the structure.

Investigators tell us the woman was driving down Commerce Street when she hit a curb, launching her into the building.
