SAPD: Woman’s body found floating in Woodlawn Lake, has ‘been there for a while’

Police say the body appears to be of a Hispanic woman in her 30s. She has not been identified.

SAN ANTONIO — Police say a woman’s body was found Tuesday morning in Woodlawn Lake.

At about 8 a.m. Tuesday morning, a jogger was running the trails and found what they thought to be a body floating in the water of Woodlawn Lake.

Police pulled out the object from the lake and, according to them, it appeared to be a body that had been there a day or two.

Police say the body is of a Hispanic woman in her 30s. She has not been identified.

Officials are treating the incident as a drowning.
