
San Antonio police arrested a 44-year-old woman early Sunday after she was found intoxicated following a wrong-way crash on IH-35. No major injuries were reported.
SAN ANTONIO — A wrong-way driver is behind bars after an early morning crash Sunday on the city’s south side.
According to San Antonio police, officers responded around 2:10 a.m. to reports of a vehicle traveling northbound in the southbound lanes in the 13000 block of IH-35 South.
By the time officers located the vehicle, a crash had already occurred.
Police say the 44-year-old woman driving the vehicle was evaluated at the scene and determined to be intoxicated. She was taken into custody and booked.
Authorities say no major injuries were reported.
The investigation remains ongoing.
