South-central Texas will have a good chance for scattered storms, gusty winds and heavier rain starting Tuesday, May 19 through Sunday, May 24. These continuous rain chances and risks has prompted the KENS 5 Weather Team to issue Weather Impact Alert Days for those dates.

A stormy week is ahead, with active weather expected to intensify over central Texas and the Hill Country by Tuesday evening before moving south across much of south-central Texas overnight.
Severe storms are possible Tuesday night, and repeated rounds of rain through Thursday could lead to localized flooding. The highest risk factors are large hail and gusty winds.
