SAN ANTONIO — Multiple school district in the greater San Antonio area are facing internet and phone problems, officials said Tuesday.
Northside ISD posted a message on social media around 12:00 p.m. informing families that internet and phone lines are down across the district. The district says they are working with the provider to resolve the problem and referred families to their emergency phone list.
Northside ISD posted an an update early Wednesday morning that internet and phone services had been restored.
Edgewood ISD posted a similar message describing the internet outage problems for their district.
North East ISD also sent a message to parents that stated the internet outage was due to a fiber cut that was impacting areas in San Antonio, Austin and surrounding regions. They posted on Facebook that their internet had been restored as of Wednesday morning.
