Search discontinued after missing Bexar County teen found safe, deputies say

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said the teen, reported missing on Friday, has been found safe.

SAN ANTONIO — UPDATE: BCSO said late Friday night that the 14-year-old previously reported missing has been found alive and well.

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing teen last seen on the city’s far west side.

Deputies are searching for a 14-year-old who was last seen Thursday night around 9:30 p.m., BCSO said.

According to authorities, he left the home and did not return. He does not have a cell phone.

He is described by deputies as being about 5’8″ and weighing approximately 128 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt and black shorts.

The sheriff’s office is urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to call 210-335-6000 or contact the BCSO Missing Persons Unit at missingpersons@bexar.org.

Deputies also warned that anyone who knowingly harbors or hides a missing juvenile could face criminal charges.
