Second arrest made in San Antonio’s first homicide of 2026 outside Stout House on west side

A second suspect is now in custody in the New Year’s Day shooting outside Stout House on Potranco Road.

SAN ANTONIO — A second man has been arrested in connection with San Antonio’s first deadly shooting of 2026, which happened early New Year’s Day outside a West Side bar.

The shooting occurred outside the Stout House on Potranco Road just hours after the new year began.

Authorities say 29-year-old Dai’Vonte Titus-Ross was arrested Tuesday afternoon at the Ingram Apartments by the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force. He is now booked into the Bexar County Jail on a murder charge.

His arrest comes just days after 39-year-old Mark Howard Anthony was taken into custody Saturday. Anthony is also charged with murder but bonded out of jail Monday.

According to the arrest warrant, 37-year-old Marcus Robinson-Tynes was inside the Stout House when two groups began arguing in the parking lot. Police say the confrontation escalated into a physical fight involving multiple people.

Investigators say Robinson-Tynes got into his truck and attempted to position the vehicle between the two groups. That’s when, according to police, Anthony and Titus-Ross allegedly pulled out handguns and began firing.

Robinson-Tynes was struck in the back of the head while sitting in his truck. Officers found him still inside the vehicle when they arrived. He was transported to a hospital, where he died less than an hour later.

The investigation remains ongoing.
