Seguin high school student dies after major car accident, superintendent says

District officials said Chole Belicek had died due to injuries she sustained in the crash.

SAN ANTONIO — A Seguin High School senior was killed in a car accident Thursday evening, according to school district officials.

Superintendent of Seguin ISD, Dr. Veronica Vijil posted on Facebook that Chole Belicek had died due to injuries she sustained in the crash.

“Chloe was a bright, engaging young lady who embodied the Matador Spirit. She was loved by her teachers, coaches, administrators and fellow students, especially her teammates on the volleyball and softball teams, and those who were her friends in FFA. She will be missed by our Matador Family. Please join me in keeping the family and friends of Chloe Belicek in your prayers,” Dr. Vijil said.

The St. James Catholic School in Seguin announced they are taking donations for the family.

This is a developing story.
