Seguin welcomes nation’s first Applebee’s and IHOP combo eatery

This location is the first of 15 dual-branded restaurants set to open through 2026.

SAN ANTONIO — Seguin is now home to the nation’s first-ever Applebee’s and IHOP fusion restaurant where guests can enjoy classic menu items from both brands, under one roof.

The dual-branded restaurant held a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday morning. The restaurant then officially opened its doors to the public following the event.

The location features two dining areas with décor that reflects each brand and a drive-thru window option for pickup orders.

The menu will feature 124 items including staples like IHOP’s pancakes and Applebee’s wings. Customers will also be offered exclusive parings like Buffalo Chicken Omelets, the Ultimate Breakfast Burger and more. The menu items can be mixed and matched and can be ordered at any time of day – including their cocktails, like the espresso martini or Irish Coffee.

Seguin Mayor Donna Dodgen, Dine Brands CEO John Peyton and franchisee Danny Hakim delivered opening remarks at the Tuesday ceremony.

This location is the first of 15 dual-branded restaurants set to open through 2026.
