SAN ANTONIO — Vulnerable seniors at Waterside Nursing and Rehabilitation have been living in freezing conditions for days, according to a staff member and resident. Both feared retaliation and asked KENS 5 not to publicly identify them.
Hours after apologizing to parents about preparations that “fell short” amid this week’s freezing-cold weather and ensuring regular operations on Wednesday, San Antonio ISD officials said late Tuesday night that 22 campuses will be closed for repairs.
