Seven arrested after multi-day prostitution sting operation in Kerr County

Authorities say they were able to complete the multi-day sting operation and stop a group allegedly soliciting prostitution and attempting sex crimes against minors.

KERR COUNTY, Texas — The Kerr County Sheriff’s Office, along with several other state and local agencies, have arrested seven suspects following a multi-day prostitution sting operation.

Last week, authorities say they were able to complete the multi-day sting operation that was trying to interdict a group of people believed to be soliciting prostitution and attempting sex crimes against minors.

During the operation, investigators said they were able to communicate with dozens of people across the region who were actively “seeking prostitutes or offering services, some including arrangements with underage people.”

The operation led to a total of seven after they were allegedly communicating with undercover officers and attempting to meet with what they thought were adults, or in some cases minors, for “sexual conduct.”

Kerr County released the following names of the suspects who were arrested during this operation:

  • Gabriel Lopez Segundo, 40, one count of Solicitation of Prostitution and placed on an immigration hold
  • Daniel Paul Pfeiffer, 66, one count of Solicitation of Prostitution
  • Jason Schoch, 47, one count of Solicitation of Prostitution
  • Fernando Vasques, 30, one count of Solicitation of Prostitution
  • Elijah Ray Hardy, 35, one count of Solicitation of Prostitution
  • Christian Eduardo Renteria-Calixto, 28, one count of Solicitation of Prostitution
  • Presley James Hartig, 25, one count of Solicitation of Prostitution and one count of Online Solicitation of a Minor

Each of these suspects are currently being held in the Kerr County Jail.

“We are proud to be part of this multi-agency team that is taking clear action against prostitution and sex trafficking in our community,” said Sheriff Larry Leitha. “Our teams will continue our work solo and in concert with other agencies to intercept those involved in the sex trade at all levels.”
