BEXAR COUNTY, Texas — Several people were injured in an accident involving a school bus and an 18-wheeler Friday morning in east Bexar County, officials said.
An official with Wilson County Emergency Management District 3 said the accident happened near Loop 1604 and Highway 87.
The official said there were around 30 people on the bus at the time of the crash and about 16 people are being treated for injuries. It is unclear how many of those injured were students or staff members. The official said some people have been transported to local hospitals.
The official did not say what caused the crash.
