We have chances for rain over the next several days and some areas could see a few inches of rain over the next seven to eight days.

Thursday will be mostly cloudy with a chance for showers in the northern part of Texas. Similar weather is expected on Friday.
On Saturday, there is a 40-50% chance for rain, but it will be mostly light during the day. By Saturday evening and early into Sunday, there is a really good chance for rain and locally heavy rain is possible.
The National Weather Service is also reporting that the best chances for rain are over the weekend.
