Haven for Hope is inviting the community to share compassion and warmth by donating winter clothing during its upcoming Share the Warmth drive in January.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonians are once again being asked to come together to help neighbors in need during the colder months through the annual Share the Warmth clothing drive benefiting Haven for Hope.
The drive will take place Saturday, Jan. 10, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Haven for Hope’s Donation Center, located at 1 Haven for Hope Way. Community members are encouraged to donate new or gently used winter clothing to support Haven for Hope clients and outreach teams serving people experiencing homelessness.
Organizers say the event has already shown the power of community generosity. During its first year, the goal was to collect 1,000 pieces of winter gear, but San Antonio residents doubled that effort, donating more than 2,000 coats, jackets, and cold-weather essentials.
As preparations begin for the third annual drive, organizers say they are grateful for the continued support and compassion shown by the community and hope to make an even bigger impact this year.
Donations help ensure individuals facing housing insecurity can stay warm and safe during winter conditions, a reminder that small acts of kindness can bring meaningful comfort to those who need it most.
