Shelly Lares announces San Antonio concert to benefit Texas flood victims

The concert will serve as “a powerful night of music and unity” after the July Fourth flooding catastrophe in the Hill Country.

SAN ANTONIO — Shelly Lares, the beloved San Antonio-born Tejano artist, will play a flood relief concert at the newly renovated Woodlawn Theatre late this month to benefit those impacted by the devastation in the Hill Country.

The concert’s theme is “One Stage, One Heart” and will serve as “a powerful night of music and unity” in support of those affected by the catastrophic floods that plagued Central Texas on the Fourth of July.

The event is open to all ages and seating will be on a first come, first serve basis with no reserved seating available. It will be held at the Woodlawn Theatre (1920 Fredericksburg Road) on July 18, starting at 7 p.m.

A $50 minimum donation will serve as a general admission ticket, and you can purchase your ticket or make an extra donation by clicking HERE.

At least 96 bodies have been recovered in the ongoing search for victims as of Thursday morning, including 27 campers and staff who were at Camp Mystic along the Guadalupe River. The flooding primarily hit Kerr County, where officials said more than 160 are still unaccounted.
