SAN ANTONIO — The 7500 block of New Sulphur Springs Road, past Loop 1604 in far southeast Bexar County, is shut down as authorities respond to a “gas line exposure.”
The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post at 5:41 p.m. that the road was expected to be closed at least through Monday afternoon. Drivers are encouraged to find detours.
It’s unclear whether construction, recent stormy weather or another factor led to the exposure.
