SAN ANTONIO — A man is in the hospital after being shot at a homeless camp on the south side of San Antonio, police say.
It happened around 10 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of West Amber Street near Pleasanton Road.
Officers say that two men had some kind of interaction before the suspect shot the victim and then fled on foot.
The victim was taken to BAMC and is expected to be okay.
No description was provided of the suspect in this shooting.
Detectives are now trying to piece together what led up to the incident.
